I'm asking this for someone new to the shard and a bit shy about advertising his presence on Siege: What price should he ask for a pair of the 12th year vet reward house teleporter tiles?

The exact price is unclear at this point until a potential buyer is actually found.

Is there anyone out there who wants to buy such a set, and what are you prepared to offer?

I sold a set on behalf of a NEW a couple of months ago. As he hadn't claimed the reward yet, his buyer asked to have it delivered on Atlantic instead of Siege and was happy to pay 6.5 mil Siege gold for the set (he was going to pay the same for it being delivered on Siege before he realised it hadn't been claimed yet).

I would say an asking price of 5-6 mil would still be fair for these.

Things don't change value because people don't like a guy. Nothing stops Diablo or anyone else from using another name to sell stuff.
