That is the upper range from what you could expect to pay on most shards.
I paid 800k for mine, and I think it was worth it. Looking around other shards (I couldn't find any on Legends), I saw prices from 500k to 1M. So if it was me, I'd hold out until I found a better price... especially if it's for "some day in the future".
