prepatch cu sidhe

Hello everyone. I hope this an allowable post. There is a player selling a black cusidhe for a very great sum. He said its faster than a current cu sidhe. Its not true. I did an experient with my 2 prepatch cu sidhe and one of my night mares. What it is actually doing is reseting its position to be within its default position. I did the same check on a nightmare and same result. Then i tried a white wyrm; And, the result was the same.
Another issue that has to be covered is pet warp. Its a well known fact that pets have a glitch. It is pet warp. Im not of course going to tell you how to get your pets to warp onto a target. But a so called prepatch cu sidhe is not true or legitimant.

Within PvP circles, most players believe that prepatch Cu's had a higher natural stamina limit which allows them to "jump" at targets faster when attacking. This isn't something you can replicate by having your pets attack other random targets, or even other players. This is something you'll notice when you're chasing and attacking enough folks that it's readily apparent that it does appear to be "faster" on screen and faster on command to switched targets.

After the patch years ago, the stamina of Cu's was given a new limit which made them "slower". However, players found a way around this as well; a method that was pretty well known to most tamers and PvPers.

Whether people buy into this or not is completely up to them, but it is appreciated that you took out the time to test it out for yourself and deliver your opinions on prepatch Cu's. I don't play a tamer so I have no idea what owning one is like; I only have experience with Cu's that have attacked me that are claimed to be prepatch and those that are not.

You're certainly allowed to make your own opinion, but I don't know if their idea of a prepatch Cu or your experiment to disprove it could be considered ~fact~ on either side.

Very wise SK.
My post actually did harm too me, Considering that I have 2 Cu Sidhes that would fall under the term "Pre-Patch"
But there are so many unscrupulous ways for players to get other players to give them gold, items, even the extreme of acct access.

It is in my nature to do my best to stop these things from happening.
I will do it 100% of the time.

Cu sidhes were great for pvp when they came out. They were strong and did ultra-high damage. The first "bite" damage was enough to leave even the best pvpers in dire predicaments. But that jump- as you refer too it; Called pet warp, was there LONG before cu-sidhes. Pet warp brought laughter to tamers of all types. It didnt take long for the pvp society too see this; which caused them to *gasps* Begin adding pvm tamers too there ranks. But pet warp affected all pets. It was quite easy to do as well. I of course am itching to explain how it was done... But i know i cannot; And, will NOT explain to anyone how to do it.

But I know personally that petwarp can be applied to Greater Dragons as well.
So too apply this super-pet idea too pre-patch cu-sidhes as an unique glitching ability is Ultima Online Mythos.

Only true 100% way to tell if a cu is pre patched. Beat the thing down to almost no life. When it chases you it should be just as fast as when it is full life. It should never slow down.
