Lot of low to medium level monsters killed.
A Dark father type was the boss, went down like a sack of poo, covered by greater dragons. I used a total of 5 bandies through the entire thing and was on top of the "action". We did notice the members of a certain guild running away from orcs, that brought quite a few chuckles from the gathered crowd. Not saying who...just a "certain" guild.
It ended highly disjointed, due to the login server issue at that time I am sure. I place no blame on the EM. Given the issue, I doubt anyone would.
Hope the next one has some actual oomph to it. I have never paid much attention to these things since we lost the initial Dev team (anyone remember the space ship attack on Brit Bank? What a flipping hoot that was). I hope this is not a common example.
Given that the armor and weapon quality of both Trammies and Fels is so high..the monster mobs need to be much higher level to present an actual challenge of some sort. Lich Lords and rotting corpses are just too low.
Try shadow and ancient wyrms / with a few Rikkis thrown in next time. 50 of them vs a couple hundred of the things we got will greatly reduce the lag while upping the challenge rate to something that everyone can enjoy. if the folks are not dying in significant numbers, it is not hard enough. Risk vs reward.
I don't think I saw more than maybe 10 total deaths last night, definitely not high enough to make you feel something was actually accomplished.
Just the thoughts of a humble mass murderer, of course.
