Practice Weapons Question

How many are there and how much are they worth?

I have:

A Crook
A Hatchet
A Bow
A Long Sword
A Mace
A Spear
A Skinning Knife
A Gnarled Staff

What other ones are there?

Also I have a black bow...says :
A Repond Bow
Repond Slayer
Spider Slayer

Odd combination I know, is it worth anything?

you're missing a small battle axe which sells for 5mil-10mil+
The other ones I sell 250K per

At best I'd pay 25k for each, with the exception of the battle axe, skinning knife and gnarled staff. I have a battle axe on a shard i don't play, and it's valued between 3-5 million, the skinning knife is tops 500k (for me) and gnarled staff maybe 100k. Those are my payouts and offers in recent past.

The black bow in question is a modified Juka bow. A while back, when looted off Juka, a fletcher with the skills and stuff could 'modify' the then brown bow into a black one and add a slayer property to it (possibility) along with the existing slayer property when brown. As for a price, maybe you could get 75-100k from a collector, even though it's a superslayer, the spider slayer doesn't do anything for it in terms of damage against either monster class.

I think it was one of those tools that was usable, and at character creation it was popular enough that people used them till they broke, hence I think they may have had uses on them, and sometime through localization, the tag disappeared. Either that, or it was a skill no one was interested in, and therefore drew it's value from there.

The rarity is all about which characters people most often created back then, they are the weapons new characters started with.
I just sold off all mine, I priced them by which I had the most of went for the cheapest, the 2 skinning knives I had I sold for 3 mil each on my vendor within hours of putting them on, I think I just got real lucky but I find those to be the most rare.

Edit: and the battles axes, I got a pile of em still, they didn't sell for me at a few hundred k, go figure

Anyone remember when tribal masks came out and sold for millions as a set? Thats like 15 mil in todays market, crazy stuff.

I have a hard time finding Practice Spears, too. I think they might be almost as rare as the Gnarled Staff. I found of lots of Skinning Knives before I found those two. But maybe my experience was unusual.

Wow, that's amazing. I agree with the other posters who estimated them at around 5 million.

Someone (maybe Hemisphere?) posted once that the Battle Axes are rare because they were only one of several possible weapons awarded for a particular, not very popular skill (Tactics? Arms Lore? I don't remember.) Anyway, the other possible weapons you could get were awarded with some much more popular skills, but the only way to get the Battle Axe was to choose the unpopular skill AND get that particular random weapon instead of one of the other possible random ones.

I don't know whether it's true, but it makes sense to me, and I remember that it was a knowledgeable person who posted it.
