Just a heads up. Folks might want to verify this with Mesanna. I do not know if it means the horses will turn to normal colored horses or retain faction colors. But just to be safe. Faction System Removal

• All players have been removed from Factions.
• Faction horses will revert to normal pets.
• Faction Greater Stamina Potions, Faction Supernova Potions, Shrine Gems, and Cloaks of Command have been removed.

I believe these are bound to current owners now since we got the patch?

Just tested this and it is correct. When you try and transfer, you get the message: You cannot transfer a Faction Warhorse.

As of today the war horses are not transferable. They are character bound now.
