Positioning/Stacking items in Kingdom Reborn

Does anyone else find it virtually impossible to place items on tables and things in Kingdom Reborn? I spent 10-15 minutes trying to place 3 bowls on a large stone table on the roof of my house, and the bowl would always just fall to the ground and not be placed where I had intended. This occurrs with other items as well. I try placing the items slightly away from the spot I mean to them, and they just fall or fail to move as well.

I often find myself booting up the 2D client just so I can place things intuitively. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

Try setting a pouch under table. lock down and raise above table. unlock place idem in pouch and then chop pouch. Don't know if it works in KR but it works great in 2-d

Are you dropping them on the table itself or the floor tile under it? I always use bags to position stuff when decorating in either client. Also the damaged books from Doom are handy for dropping certain items.

You have to get a "feel" for dropping things in KR:wall:, the tile grid isn't quite where you expect it to be ie: doesn't seem to correspond to 2D's grid. I think it has to do with zoom setting, even at default zoom it's a little off. Perhaps it's a cursor registration issue also.

Your best bet is to find some empty floor and practice dropping and moving stuff until you get the knack. It's better than struggling with it while you're positioning precious items.
