What is poppie seed dust? with 0 charges. I have seen them on a vendor.

They are a new resource from poppies that allow you to ID seeds. Once all charges are used up, they can still be used as deco.

Poppies seed dust is a resource from the new poppies plant. It has 8 charges that identify unknown seeds. I sell them with various charges. They can be locked down for deco.
FYI: It's bugged and not identifying plain seeds properly. It takes a charge away, but the plain seed is still labeled a plain seed. If you attempt to re-identify it, you receive a message saying the seed is already identified.

Just curious... how much are you selling them for? I've been selling for 1k each, with 0 charges. I've seen them selling for as much as 25k in Luna (but I just can't bring myself to sell them for that much.)
I only grow black, white, and peculiars. So I guess I'm safe from the bug.
EDIT: And Bright Orange/Green for petals and thorns. But I already know which seeds those are.

I'm selling for 800gp each and can't keep them stocked. I'm considering going to 1k, but I don't think I'll go over that. I'm on such a sparsely populated shard it just doesn't seem right.

Look at the FAQ... there are the original set of 17 plants that existed for the last 6 or 8 years and there were Poppies in that set... You could cross-polinate and collect seeds from these, and get different colors of plants.
This year we got a new set with seeds that are called "Peculuar"... among the "Peculuar" seeds you can get a new kind of Poppies that are more spread out than the original ones... these only come in "Plain" seeds and don't produce seeds or let you cross-polinate or anything...
You collect the "Peculuar Seeds" from groups of mobs that are listed, I'm sure, in the FAQ, by now... but you can get the new Poppies from Wisps among other mobs... Wisps drop other seeds too though, not just poppies.
