points for Ancient Smith Hammers

Looks like cleaning points for Ancient Smith Hammers not scaled to remaining uses. Is it bug or feature?

it's like this with all items with charges. I'd say it's a feature.

I believe it's a feature, as originally, at least, the points for an ID wand were based on charges; now they're all just 5000 points.

Are they not? When I tested it out on Test Center, it was per charge. Did this change?

They are by point, I checked a couple of my hammers and kits while I was determining my throwaway pile.
