pointer issue with EC

I'm running the enhanced client on a vista laptop and starting about 3 days ago the pointer is at least half a square lower than it's highlighting,also when maximised the window is bigger than the desktop and when not it will not re-size,keeps popping back to it's original size. any clues or suggestions?

Not really sure, but could be the driver not talking properly to the video card driver. I'd say try updating the graphics card drivers first.
