Hello everyone its been a few years since i played UO...Missed it alot

KR version isent to bad once you get use to it...
Old 2D is just choppy now for some reason..

So i broke down and got 1 month to see whats going on and if its worth to come back..
Freind will join me if i give the go ahead...

First off , why did the 12.99 go to 17.66 + 1.30 to play this game..im looking at almost 20$ Canadian now a month?

Sorry but 14$ ok is or may be worth it...will see..

And what is Pogo/EA charge of 1.30$ for?

Also i cant seem to find a vendor that sells shard transfer tokens..
I have some old items still from way back may be able to exchage for a few tockens..

I came from GL to Baja , and want to go back to GL..
Baja was greath , but freind is still on GL and just seems dead...

Thanks for any help and hope to keep playing UO..

Oh! yes i have all the games but yet dosent show half of them registered anu more???

Take care and safe hunting all

Part of the extra charge is that EA's legal department got suckered into using a "Service" that collects national/state(or province)/local taxes on internet purchases and fees.

Despite many of us repeatedly reporting that the supposed taxes the place is collecting DO NOT APPLY to internet game subscriptions (or anything else that isn't a purchase of a physical item), that company still collects said charges to cover the taxes EA's customers supposedly owe the states.

Even that service's OWN WEB PAGE FAQ describes the taxes for each area, and pretty much states in most of those areas that the tax would NOT apply to to the type of service that UO falls under - yet the company STILL collects the amounts to supposedly pass on to the taxing authorities. In many cases of state taxes, the rates have absolutely no relation to ANY existing tax rates of the states in question.

I'm not too worried about it (only about $5 a year for me), and I'm looking forward to the day when that operation gets busted for defrauding EA and their customers, so we can get a class action going against them (which should get us back more than we pay in).
