As a long time crafter, just returning from a 3 month hiatus, I'm trying to get a grip. Anyone here old school knows of my previous comments in regards to the worth of this stuff. So I throw some on a vendor @ 35k/per...and it doesn"t sell. Perhaps my time away or a lack of marketing....don't know but ya can't sell the stuff much cheaper.

Any thoughts? To be honest; I've gotten more of a kick just rolling out my tamer and busting out one of my dragons or my 12-13 year old drake. What ya can get in 60 minutes is fairly substantial..

Is there much of a market anymore for POF? Thanks.

In the time you have been away, it seems the overall value of gold has gone up and commodities and high-end items have gone done to balance out.

POF, which I used to sell regularly for 40-50k, I have now had to drop to 25k to stay competitive. I think it is mostly because of the above in that you can buy more with less gold:

Some Examples:
Soulstones dropped from about 10 mil per to 5-6 mil
Vet Rewards used to be a million per year for the high end and are now much less (I've been getting 10 year rewards now for about 6.5 mil - see GIL auction results on their boards for more examples)

Not sure where all the gold is going but there seems to be much less of it around so prices seem to be going down on most everything.

I brought some other day at 25k, there is alot to that price in Vendor Search, so I fear it will be hard to sell for more right now. I brougt several as to that price, I'm to lazy to do BoDs myself.
I velieve the demand had been low for a while, but that can changes if all the new players we got the last few weeks will stay.
Maybe wait a little before you stack vendor to see if price goes up.

Found 20 POF on a vendor a couple nights ago for 10k each, needless to say I bought it all a fast as I could fly to the vendor

Not having hardly any players will also hurt the market from what Ive seen

There seem to be quite a bit of people incoming, and if we keep showing an active friendly positive forum and stocked vendors, it will attract even more hopefully.

Things costing less is a good thing, its a sign of a healthy economy ( compared to the opposit )

I'm frequently looking for it, so just give it a bit of time. Try just putting like 5 on a vendor at 35k or even more to keep the vendor fees in check, with a note that says "will check stock regularly" with the date so people know its recent. If you find it empty the next day, put another 5-10 on.
