I was working on perfecting my Archer's armor today and decided to have a little fun with the RNG.
I turned in a 20 Normal Cloth LBOD and got another Spined Runic Kit. I burned through all 45 charges on regular leather sleeves and ended up a MR2 13 fire resist piece. Perfect! I didn't have the special materials to imbue MR2 so that is really what I was after. If I got MR2, LMC 8 and something in fire resist, poison resist or stamina increase I could have been even more happy. However, this would do nicely.
It started off with 45/45 durability. I then used just over two bottles of Powder of Fortification to make it 255/255. Not really horribly expensive yet as both of those items were obtained with BODs. You are still doing your BODs correct?
I really needed LMC, high fire and high poison (darn that corpse skin). So I imbued it with 7 LMC as I didn't have the specials to make it 8, 19 fire resist using 10 boura pelts, 17 poison resist using three boura pelts and finally 8 stamina increase using 10 luminescent fungi which I have a ton of from trying to get Brilliant Amber for another project. I would have made it 18 poison using 10 boura pelts but with SI and LMC being weighted at 1.1 I had no choice but to drop it down a notch.

But Podolak you say, this is about your gambling addiction is it not? Right you are I say and really wanting to get that fire resist higher...
Should I do it?
Well I did it...
As you can clearly see that did not work out so well. However, as my gambling addiction only exists in UO and not in IRL I can be content in still having a house to pound my head against a wall in.
