I can't believe you fixed the velocity problem over some of the more outstanding pvp problems. Like archers really needed any more buffing.

Velocity and balanced, 2 properties that should have never been added in the first place.

How about fixing the problem with EO and Para?

Or looking into the fact that people can avoid using 100-120 skill points by simply running around with a trapped box.

FOF June 13, 2008:

"Why are the Doom bosses and Dark Fathers teleporting back to their rooms?"

There are two parts to this answer - a missed patch note and a bug. First of all, I apologize for the missed patch note - it was a misunderstanding on my part, and I didn't mean to cause panic and confusion. The note is as follows:

- Doom mobs can no longer be kited out of the spawning rooms

The second part is actually a bug - the change was not intended to affect the Dark Fathers, just the lesser bosses. We've got a fix for that sent to QA and hope to see it in the next publish.

PLZ dont leave doom the way it is for another publish...

Confirmed - just an oversight in the patch notes. I updated 'em!

And Colter, sometimes the reason that certain bugs get fixed is just because we can, rather than because that bug is higher priority - and right now, when we're training several new people, that's often what happens. Someone learns something, and a bug gets fixed - it's win-win!

You don't need to explain it to me. The programmers at my work are the same way.

You hand them a list of 10 fixes in order of most important to least important, with numbers 1-3 being "must haves'

Come release day you find out they worked on numbers 3, 7 and 9. Of course they have the same lame excuse as you guys "oh well those were the easy ones to fix".

Screw the customer, just do what is easy for IT right?

LOL If your place of work is anything like mine, and the IT team saw your post, your projects will be rated at the bottom of the "importance" pole.

There's also a substantial difference between bug fixes and balance changes, and it sounds like you're primarily concerned with the latter. They don't tend to end up on the same people's lists, though.

Do you ever say or THINK anything positive? I have been around from day 99 or so (with several self imposed time outs) and think this dev team is on the right track. Do I agree with everything? Hell no. Do I biotch, yup, some. But come on, give it a rest. Go play a GAME you enjoy. Your crap is old.
