Plot Decoration Difficulties

Okay, I'm Co-Owned to my friend's house, and I'm doing some deco for him. Now, everything was going fine, but I just went to put down some rubble mushrooms, and they fell *below* the house plot and can no longer be reached, locked down, or anything.

I've already paged to get them removed, but all I got was a canned response. First one I've ever gotten actually. I don't know how the knowledge base could possibly help me get the rubble from under the plot >.<

I'm currently 11th in my second page as I'm writing this, so I guess we'll see what happens. Because my friend told me that once upon a time, a GM would actually come and get it out...

Okay, should have been more specific. This plot I'm decoarting is a vendor house... I can't get into customization mode without having my friend remove all the vendors...

don't have a solution for you, Faeryl, but needed to say this ~~~ it's a simple, less-than-a-minute task, and it's very annoying that a GM just doesn't pop by and do it

Another canned response of "We can't assist players petitioning for other players". Dammit! I'm not petitioning for my friend. Sure it's his house, but I just want the bloody rubble out from under it! How hard is that!?

Waiting on another page... This time on my friend's account which owns the house... We'll see how this plays out...

In the other post that Spellbound linked to someone posted this worked for them:

ok i found a solution to this problem so if it ever happens again try this:
First have a friend come into the house and log out on a placed teleporter next to/ on top of the item under the house. have your friend log in while you are in customize mode and they should be able to grab the item.

Yes, I did see that Aboo, but my problem is that this is a vendor house. I can't get into customization mode to place a teleporter...


Edit: Well, three pages, two canned responses and an hour later, a GM *finally* took two seconds to pop the mushrooms into the character's pack... Honestly... I don't see why I had to page three times for a two second task.

I've found when it comes to GM help ..... often times you need to change what your telling them...... reword it don't mention that it's someone elses house.. just say your doing some decorating and the item in question fell under the house and could they please come and fetch it for you before it vanishes..... do bold please....

You can go into the customize mode with vendors in the house.

It will just stuff the vendors in the moving crate, and you will have to claim them when you are done to put them back. When you claim them you stand where you want them to be and they will appear there.

I guess I didn't see where it was a vendor house although I did know you were just a co-owner so I should have guessed that you couldn't do that.

I am glad you finally got the help that you needed and that you should have gotten the first time you paged!

Only if they're your own vendors.. any owned by other people will make it so customize mode can't be used.
