Of course, to all the pragmatists out there who will invariably chime in: yes, I've already tossed a bunch of them in the trash.

No, it's just that they are so drab and have been done to death. I mean besides the bells and whistles of text, they all look exactly alike (Valentine's Day Cards, Christmas Cards, Anniversary Cards), and so forth. Just want something different.

I'm not going to complain about ANYTHING they GIVE us. In fact I am going to take this time to thank the Devs for all their hard work on the anniversary items and the vet rewards. THANK YOU!

I think they're a nice touch.

I think someone mentioned in the past though, it would be nice if we had a container or book to put them on display without taking up lockdowns. I keep all mine, but they do take up alot of lockdowns, and there is no way to really display them all.

I'm still working on getting one from Mesanna to Gareth. I'm not having much luck....:-( I wonder if she made it so I wouldn't get a card with Mesanna and Gareth on it.

No you are not alone in this I would like to see something new tossed in the bags. I understand we can just toss em in the trash but it would be cooler if they would give us something we would like to keep. I just wish they would change it up some.

At least with the 12th anniversary stuff they changed the shape of the cake. Although I'm not sure a different shaped card would be any better...They should give us a mini GM that says "Sorry I can't help you" and a letter from Santa that grants us one wish! Yeah that would be cool! Oh wait...I guess there isn't enough room in Trammel and Fel to give us ALL castles. Scratch that. There have to be better ideas out there!

If I want to display them I use musicstands, they usually link up fairly well (though not exactly.)

I don't mind the card form -- but I'd like new functions now and then when you double-click them. Sometimes have ones that sing a song or do fireworks or cast armageddon.

I'd also like ones that work like the "engravings", but that perhaps take a snapshot of a character or npc that you can look at. You know, like a PICTURE.

In game cameras for the win, baby.

They should just give us a "Memories Album" that would store these v day and christmas and anniversary cards already. You put the cards in a dyeable album and when you open it the gump gives the text of the card and also a choice of pictures you can alter (like messageboard avatars) so you can glance and see who the card is from while flipping thru: like the UO symbol for being from a UO employee or a heart for being from a close friend, etc.

The pages of the album would be hued the same as the cards, the text would be the converse color (or maybe all just black, I don't think there are any black cards).

Maybe an album could be a good way to store letters from friends dropped in the mailbox, someday?

I always wonder why I see cards being sold in Luna for tons of gold? Who wants a card with someone else's name on it?

Great idea! I have an 18x18 called "Rose Manor" and it is full of roses on every floor and almost every tile. I love em!

Ni, I wasn't replying to you. It was for Lord Gareth. He wanted to get a card from Mesanna to Gareth. Mesanna and Gareth are both WoT characters. I do have a card from Mesanna to Mazrim Taim, which caused to to fall to the floor in fits of laughter that only I understood (my wife looked at me oddly).
