would you please do us EC user a favor? PLEASE keep your hands OFF from the UI and mods, because the Modders Team can do this better!

last and best example is the Atlas,look what you have done and what PLAYER did.

it would make me glad if you would concentrate your restpower for bugfixing.

let me resume:

you delivered the EC as a pure skeleton,and the modders and player put the flesh on it.


Bring the EC out of beta status,so the modders and players can accomplish it.

Actually, I prefer having a full-featured original EC client, instead of having to dig through dozens of mods. On the other hand, I have just given up on the EC, so my opinion is not really relevant anymore.

I'll be honest, this is how I feel as well. The mods should only be stuff that are extraneous features. For instance, I want to put together (if we ever the EC interfaces back) an mod that allows me to tend my plants with as close to a single-click as possible (not sure what the limitations are yet, but it's my dream)... would still need to walk around and interact with each plant, but would use poisons and cures and stuff based on user-stored settings. This is something I'd like to see but don't expect developers to do so I'd be fine modding it myself.

However, a lot of the stuff I've seen is almost required to make the EC useful, and that should never be the case.

Maybe its just me, but I find the EC extremely usefull and I havnt installed any mods.

Ditto. The EC shouldn't have to depend on player made mods in order to function properly, it should do it on it's own. Mods should ONLY be something to enhance a particular template type or need, not the entire game.

Functionality-wise, I agree, especially since the map finally is resizable. The only mod I am using are a number of self-created additional icons. Apart from that, I'm happy with the fuctionality of the EC.

Hehe i have to agree, please fix the bugs which are really important and cannot be fixed by a modder.

sure, BUT i like the things done professional
as i told, the dev´s delivered the skeleton but the modders put the flesh on

i cant and i dont want to wait 5 years before the last "needfull thing" is implemented ,the modders do such things OVERNIGHT !(and 100times better)

lets take the map "enhancement" last week, what is the result?
result is we overwrite it with a mod. LOL

the second lamest thing is the "command" option,things that should be already there have to find out by US players and modders.LAME

Do not worry, with the latest rounds of lay-offs/dismissals over at EAMythic, it will be sometime before they get their new programers up to speed. Do not expect much work being done on the EC client, not saying they are stopping, but I expect a major slow down. It happened the last time with major departures.

I identified a new race of beings in UO... they're called the "us the lurkers something" and they are just here to tell the inverse of what some people say for a mystical reason.

They're proud of what they are, and you seemingly cannot explain why. They will also use stuff you said before against you, but unconsciously, as if you never had tought with such a point of view. Clearly examplified here.

I think you're right, I've also seen better running versions of UO made by kids in their basements, bugless, lagless.

I wonder whats their pay... gold, woman and a uniform ? May they live forever...
