Playing UO behind University's proxy server

hi, im at uni in halls and i cant play uo as i think its becouse they have closed the ports UO needs on the proxy server, anyone know a way round this? :) or how to find out if the ports are closed? Iv found what ports UO need for patching/logging in/and gaming.

Also i get to the login screen and it says connecting but doesn't, then pops up saying could not connect at this time!

Really want to be able to play UO :)
