What excactly is the meaning of this?

i have done severeal imbuing jobs where people supply the stuff to give relic fragments, this quite ordenary i thought, this will no longer be possible then?

and does it include vendors?

It was explained that it had to do with an exploit and you can trade items to others and still unravel it...but this is to fix that exploit.

ok so its only to fix the exploit and you can still unravel stuff traded to you?

and the exploit was unraveling when you traded it away?

Maybe this wording will help?

A seller can no longer unravel an item he has sold. Once the item is in the possession of the buyer... the seller will no longer have access to unravel that item.

Or...

You can only unravel Items you are currently in possession of.
