Guild Wars 2 world will be significantly larger compared to Guild Wars. Any current or former Guild Wars players knows the land is huge in Guild wars but we were always blocked off to land and water in the boundaries of the game. Water was just water. You couldn’t swim or anything.
Guild Wars 2 has made it where a player can explore all over the land and under the water. Yes ,there will be underwater battles. Players can be fighting on land near a cliff and then jump ( players will be able to jump in GW2) off a cliff into the water. Players can swim away to safety or fight. Players will not have to worry about drowning since there are no breath time limits. All characters weapons will change for underwater combat and a breather to navigate in the water.
Weather effects will play a part in Guild Wars 2. There is a day and night cycle in the game and shorter then real time. This makes the game feel a little more realistic to the players. Buildings will be accessible to players.
