Player ran towns

[Eyes of Origin]

So this was brought up last night at the Q&A with EM Faine and I was curious to see how many people would really be interested in doing something like this on Origin? (besides those of us who were there at the meeting anyhow)

I know there are a few other shards doing this as well. I have seen the town started on Chessy by the guild OATH, it looks wonderful.
I have a free space on an account at the moment that I was going to use just for the Christmas Deco House thing coming up, but if we start something like this on Origin, I would want to do the deco thing and also place the house roughly where we would start the town.

I'm in. Couldn't make the meeting because of time conflict but I am curious.
What are the advantages other than a vendor mecca like Malas?

It's about community more than anything. Something that we can all do together. I think it would be pretty cool.
I think Sara is going to be posting notes on the meeting last night, there were more things discussed as well, but due to family stuff, I didnt get to pay full attention to the meeting I'm sure the others that were there will post as well.

lol It's not like we don't have enough places to start a community. I think it would be cool. I still have a house in Europa that I don't use anymore So I will move it here.
