As always, at the O*T Arena, Zento!

Rules remain as originally given here :

Stratics Forums

We've been asked to clarify one thing - the 'slimes' wild card, you do not have to define what you want the slime to function as until you have summoned all 5 'cards' for your hand, it is NOT necessary to nominate what it counts as immediately after you summon it!

Bobar's 5 million prize for the first 'full house' hand to be summoned is still up for grabs, we got close but so far nobody has managed it - maybe this week.... ;)

Start time of 8PM UK time - anyone welcome, we'll even have some scrolls available for those not quite mage enough to do their own summoning :)

The link for the old 'rules' post seems not to work any more, so the important bits are :

The idea is fairly simple - we pair up mages, each in turn goes into the arena and summons their five, which we score according to the following :

Card 'equivalents' -

Ace - highest card - Chicken (We are the ECL after all...)
King - Alligator
Queen - Snow Leopard
Jack - Scorpion
14 - Giant Serpent
13 - Hind
12 - Rabbit
11 - Polar Bear
10 - Black Bear
9 - Grizzly Bear
8 - Llama
7 - Eagle
6 - Grey Wolf
5 - Pig
4 - Horse
3 - Gorilla
2 - Walrus

Wild card - Slime, counts as anything you choose it to represent!

Hand rankings, highest to lowest :

Five of a kind - all the same creature
Flush - all reptile/non mammal or all mammal.
Four of a kind
Full house - three of one kind of creature, two of another
Three of a kind
Two pairs
One pair
High 'card'.

The second mage comes in, casts their spells - and unless things have been very unusual, we should have a winner!
