plate of honor vs knight set ?

how are they differant and how was/is plate of armor pieces obtained ?

Knight's Armor is from Spring Cleaning some years back.

Plate of Honor is a Mondain's Legacy expansion set, obtained from Mondain's Legacy bosses, mostly Peerlesses.

I have linked to the UO Guide pages; there are also quite-likely Stratics pages on these sets.

Most people consider the Knight's Armor more useful but you can't get it anymore save for buying it from some other player who already has it.

As it nearly-always was in this game, however, the best armor comes from cobbling together separate pieces.

The Knight Set was obtained through spring clean up...Once you obtained enough tickets you could get items such as the Knight Set, Sorcerer's suit, Scout suit and other various items. These cannot be obtained any longer, unless you buy them from someone.

Plate of Honor suit is part of Mondain Legacy items, which are drops from peerless bosses and mini bosses such as swoop, miasma ect..

The differences in these complete suits are stats,mods and obtainability.
