Plants and Gardening issues?

For the last several days now I have logged on to water my plants and noticed they are NOT aging. Though its been several (3 I think) days they need no watering...They are also suddenly not producing resources or seeds. Please, please, please fix this! Or at least tell us whats going on.

Plants are definitely quirky. I grow them in backpacks these days and have logged in the plant carriers after a few days of not logging in those characters and had the plants wilted and dieing at times. I wonder if they do some system check process that trips the 'this character has been logged in' flag or something on occasion.

I've had this happen to me too. But on very few occasions, and I'm really sloppy about remembering to log on everyday and do them. I just grow in packs on my alchy char, and make pots as I go...so all my experiences are with plants on the char.

I wonder, if Evie and others who arent experiencing growth cycles, are growing in chests or other lockdowns. And also, how long has this been a problem for them??? could this somehow have come up with the coding change related to being able to secure a chest without releasing it from lockdown status, or whatever the big change was??

I have heard the problems is occuring even in locked down plants that are on the floor which should grow when the shard updates every day. Perhaps the shard is not updating for some reason. It may have something to do with recent shard maintanence.

Yeah, Iv been growing plants without issue (They are locked down in my top floor) for several months now. They have been doing their normal thing and all of a sudden stopped. Like I said maybe three days ago, so what is it they "fixed" that screwed the plants and how do we fix that? Any ideas?

Same here... on Legends. I have plants locked down that I gather seeds from everyday and some that I just planted. 3 days ago they suddenly stopped growing, stopped producing seeds, they're stuck. I have people waiting on some plants so I need them to get to doing their thing.

I'm growing plants in my house for weeks now, and noticed no unusual behaviour so far... Got a few bowls now on my crafters backpack (today) so I'll see if this is running fine, too.

I've been growing plants since plant growing was added to the game. It's not running fine.

While what I'm experiencing is a PitA and better than doubles the tending work on occasion, it's pretty much just one more of the bugs infesting UO. If you declare it's all working fine, then yay for you. There are still people having problems though.

Think of the cars that have problems that prompt recalls. Most of the owners see no problem with their cars, some have definite, and occasionally lethal problems. Read the owner product reviews on computer equipment, You'll probably find nearly all of them fairly positive, then their will be those who get the items that never could have made it through the Quality Assurance tests and advise the reader to avoid the product because it doesn't work well, or only briefly.

Take off those rose colored glasses, the tint must be way to dark.

So no progress with the plants yet!...I also posed this question to the "Ask the Dev's" thread, with no answer. Heck, they didn't even print the question and the one management person who answered this thread is "Having no problems" even though everyone else is....Plllluuuuueeeesssseeeee!

This is part of an overall problem with Legends shard.
Plants aren't updating because the shard isn't going through maintenance.
The shard isn't available on the transfer options.
GM paging isn't working.
All of which HAS been passed on and will be resolved.

erm, it wasn't meant to be harsh, it was meant as a reassurance.
Also I tried to tell you on your other thread that you were not understanding how the 'ask the devs' forum functioned and please read the sticky in there so that you would. Posts in there aren't made visible until a dev answers them.
