[Imbuing] Planesword Superslayer set (opinions wanted)...

Hello, I am imbuing a set of superslayer swords for my tank mage (6x 120- sword/tact/resist/mage/med/eval). I am debating either doing:

Planesword - SC no-1, 68 mana leech, 30 SSI, superslayer for each slayer group or -

Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit lightning, 30 SSI, demon slayer
Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit lightning, 30 SSI, reptile slayer
Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit lightning, 30 SSI, elemental slayer
Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit fireball, 30 SSI, repond slayer
Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit fireball, 30 SSI, undead slaye
Planesword - SC no-1, 46 hit fireball, 30 SSI, arachnid slayer

If you were making this set, what would you go for?

Id go with the mana leech personally. I dont know how you play it but i assume you wont be toe-toe all the time??

A swift AI with 68ML should return most of your mana investment.

I wouldn't put mana leech on that weapon, as a mage usually has high mana regeneration and a high mana pool anyways (at least my mages do). I'd put on maximum SSI (due to low dex on a mage), maximum DI, and the rest (if possible) on Hit Lightning.

Hi there,

I do not know if they have fixed the bug with planeswords yet.
But they have said that they will fit it.

If they will destroy the swords or just force the total intensity below max I do not know.

Well if they do they also need to fix the bug with all shields and weapons.

Not that i would really mind this.

Could do di but no room for hit spell then

so choices now are:

45 di 30 ssi super slayer sc no-1

68 hit mana leech 30 ssi super slayer sc no-1

or

46 hit spell 25 ssi super slayer sc no-1

I figure I'd post my final decision (incase anyone cares =P)

I am going the mana leech route as it will allow me to spam armor ignores for less mana overall when I'd like to.

After speaking to numerous people the damage from a hit spell effect is minimal at best when fighting high end monsters and as I won't be meleeing consistently the proc occurs even less making it even less useful damage wise.

As for damage increase, the benefits of an additional 50% are not that high and I just don't feel it's worth the 100 imbuing weight.

Every choice for PvM super slayer spell channeling swords has a downside and I just feel mana leech will fit my playstyle the best on this char.

do you mean that there are other items that have total intensity above max?
I know of ecru and planesword only.

Kind of yes, but its not a single type of weapon...its ALL weapons and shields.

I crafted the set tonight..

They came out as:

Planesword:
No -1 Spell Channeling
2% Fireball/Lightning (Depends on slayer)
60% Hit Mana Leech
30% Swing Speed Increase
Super Slayer
