Does anyone know if planeswords are still imbueable after patch, thanks.
I have no knowledge on this subject, so this post may be completely invalid and is a personal theory.Does anyone know if planeswords are still imbueable after patch, thanks.
Planeswords were merely overlooked by the Devs, and the reason no one has been griping about them is because you see so many people using them in the field.while the result may be the same, the process is much different
ecru rings were made by exploit
planeswords are made by normal means
Which is a world apart as far as i am concerned
Though most were turned in because of there uselessness. These will wear out eventually without a replacement anyway.Planeswords were merely overlooked by the Devs, and the reason no one has been griping about them is because you see so many people using them in the field.
They get a free fc1 (140 pts) on the wep, and definitely should be nerfed.
SC
No penalty
DCI 15
Mage Wep -20
Hit Lightning 50% (or fireball if you prefer)
That's a godlike artifact in it's own right.

Yeah, I second Chardonnay - totally wrong. These are being imbued as mage weapons. Their usefulness is not in standing somewhere and whacking something a thousand times - it's the DCI15 primarily, and then the hit spell. Usually you have to choose one or the other, with planeswords you can have both. As mage weapons, even if you fight 24/7 every day, you'll probably need to repair like once a year or something. 255 years from now, yes, they will wear out (ok, i'm being a little facetious).Though most were turned in because of there uselessness. Ecru is different as a unlimited amount could of being made even so I didn't care about them able to go over the cap as this gave crafters a sort of edge instead of just 5min imbuers.I'm not whining Chardonnay, just stating facts.
UOKaiser's theory didn't hold for overcapped ecrus, and I don't think it'll hold for planeswords when all is said and done.
Most competent pvp mages (that use sc mage weps) are using these in the field. Mages seem to be the ones that start the whine threads here about dexxers on these boards, so there's been no planesword complaints (that I've seen). Planeswords are under the Devs radar because the complaints haven't started on them yet.
If you like me to start some whine threads or polls about them, I'd be happy to. I'll explain the normal weight of weapons for imbuing purposes in the post because you know 90% of the dexxers here get confused, becozz we iz dumm.

So the next "nerf archer's " thread I expect you to do the same? Violins and cry faces and what have you. I some how suspect that you wont, and are only doing this here because you use them?

lulz, I don't care if they're removed, I just want to see you say this on any dexxor nerf.
You say "lulz" but i know inside your secretly crying...lulz, I don't care if they're removed, I just want to see you say this on any dexxor nerf.
I'm crying by asking for consistency? You say "lulz" but i know inside your secretly crying...snap:
lol, sure kid...I'm crying by asking for consistency?
lol, sure kid. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Like I said, I don't care if plane swords are removed or they add +20dci base to them.
But I'll know whenever i go into an archer nerf thread and you don't post, it's because you're playing your violin while sobbing.snap:
Look harder: http://www.uoguide.com/PlaneswordWhat are the stats on these things and is there any info on it anywhere? Tried Stratics, google and uoguide...nothing.
DuhDoes anyone know if planeswords are still imbueable after patch, thanks.
The topic is "plane sword" and typically good english would be to have a space between them too.
Some do, but that doesn't change anything, as that is the thread title and what is displayed above every post, its what sticks.Well, if you had read the thread, everybody call them "planeswords".
Thanks for the infoYes...
with my plane i'm at 75dci though, with a shield ... 90 lolI'm wondering if most of the people who feel threatened by the Planesword imbuing either don't PvP or don't PvP often.
The Planesword is almost entirely used in PvP (would say always but nothing is certain). The DCI is only 15%, a 25% drop from the 20%/21% you can have with the twinkling scimitar. I imbued one... currently it is sitting in a chest at my house while my 4 or 5 other mages are sporting 19%-21% DCI Twinkling Scimitars.
The hit lightning really isn't a huge advantage except in dueling. Mages don't run up to people and stand next to them to cast spells; instead... mages cast spells. And when a mage is casting a spell, the character cannot swing. The Planesword w/ DCI 15% & Hit Lightning 50% is mostly for show as any good PvP mage will tell you. That missing 5% DCI can hurt... especially if up against a group of Archers. "IF" there is an advantage, it deffinetly does not come anywhere near an over-powering one.
Glad we got that all cleared up.![]()
