About Grimm, this guy is something else. He is the only pre Samurai Empire Dev that I know of. He is a bit of UO history walking on two legs.

My wife and I shared a breakfast with him not knowing his connection with Ultima Online other than he was an attendee. He was personable, funny with a razor sharp wit, passionate about UO, and knowledgeable as hell.

He REEKED of mainstream normal, even tempered, well balenced, socialized, working guy. In fact all the dev's that I met were way more mainstream than I expected.

The attendees were the ones that you had to watch for (some more than others) but the dev's, especially Grimm, were cool as hell.

Thanks Retro! I really enjoyed having breakfast and talking with you and your wife that morning as well. Glad you brought up the Pre-UOSE staff - There are actually 4 of us that have been around that long. Vex (Phoenix), Messana and MrsTroubleMaker are original OSI folks, and as you said, I got here pre- UOSE.

I hope I get the opportunity to meet up with you and your family again, and I'm glad you guys made it home Ok.
