I'm posting the quick details for the events that the Purple Guardians of Honor will be hosting for Honordays to celebrate our 17th anniversary. PGoH was formed on the 11th of October in 1997 and one of the things we have always done were shard events. Through the years we have ran some very recognizable events such as the Humility Hunt, Bard's Night, and Jousting. We hope you enjoy what we have planned for this year and i'd be happy to hear suggestions for improvement for next year.
Monday October 6th at 5 pm eastern we will be holding a summoning contest at the park in Trinsic. Participants will be asked to summon a specific creature. Anyone who summons the appropriate creature will move up to the next creature request. The winner will receive a token for a Stygian Abyss statue.
Tuesday October 7th at 8 pm eastern we will hold a humility hunt. Participants are allowed a normal weapon or spellbook, bandages, reagents and other basic supplies. Items that are not allowed are armor, jewelry or clothing with mods on them. Spellbook circle is not restricted and other casting skills are allowed. Items are allowed to be picked up and used while on the hunt. We will leave from the Royal Bank of Trinsic.
Wednesday October 8th at 8 pm eastern we will meet up at the Royal Bank in Trinsic for gates to the ships we will use for hunting Corgul.
Sunday October 12th at 8 pm eastern we will meet up at the meeting hall in Trinsic to start out on a riddle based Scavenger Hunt inside the city of Trinsic. Prize is still to be determined.
Monday October 13th at 8 pm eastern the famous Bard's Night will be held at the Keg and Anchor tavern in Trinsic. The topic will be "The Most Important Virtue." Stories should be original and last no more then ten minutes. Judges will be picked from the audience to determine the top three stories. Prizes will be 1 million for first, 500k for second, and 375k for third.
Tuesday October 14th at 7 pm eastern we will hold a combination archery and throwing contest at the training grounds in Trinsic. Winners will receive their choice of an imbued bow or soul glaive and a million gold check. Second place will receive the remaining weapon and 750k, third will receive 500k.
Saturday October 18th at 7 pm eastern we will be holding a Jousting Tournament at the Haven arena. Normal armor without jewelry is required, lances will be provided. Winner will receive 2 million gold, second place wins 1 million.
