It seems to me that pets have enough variables with stats(HPs/Dex/Mana) and resist. When you put another full set of veriables in there its just too much imo.
Also I believe thats pets have been balanced with there max skills in mind.
thus CUs are balanced with 100 to all skills(sept healing) the Reptalon was balanced with 120 wrestling. And thats where the problem is..Pets like the CU can ALWAYS reach there max potential (on skills) no matter what they spawned with. Where pets like the Reptalon can not pass skill levs they spawned with.
I propose thats pet "skill" caps are pre set and NOT dependent on what they happen to spawn with.
IE any Reptalon can be trained up to 120 wrestling no matter what skill lev it spawned with.
The same would go for the Fire Steed... any fire steed could be trained up to 120 resist no mater what it happen to spawn with.
and so on with many other pets.
IMO this change is long over due.
