Pets and House Teleport Tiles

I'm having an issue where pets don't follow me when I use one of the 12th Year Vet Reward House Teleport Tiles. Can you guys make it so the pets follow us?

I should mention that occasionally my pets follow me, but thus far more often than not they remain behind.
