Pet Transfers, there needs to be a secure way?

Hail: Well i am sure it happens a lot, but i just saw it myself. A Guy was spamming his pet Greater Dragon for sale. Another guy ask how much, "No, not me" accepted it, took out of bank, and gave it to the pet owner.........Who Promply recalled away.

Almost everything in the game can be bought/sold in at least a semi secure way. But NOT Pets. No one really cares how it is done, but there should be another way, outside of just trusting the guy will transfer it to you after he gets the gold. On a vender, a pet transfer deed, thru the stablemaster, ANYTHING. I do not see how it could be very hard to put into the game.

Hell, a better way even is to use the Pet Transfer command in the pet menu, that would add it into the trade window, that both seller and buyer must check for it to go thru. Yes, i know this was brought up before, but with a bunch of players selling high end pets these days, it is worth bringing up again.

Wow, are you playing on an official shard? Perhaps tunneling your connection through a time rift?

As long as the owner is the one to begin the transfer, the secure trading window comes up for it and has done so for several years. They even fixed it so pets in the secure trading window are hued the same color as the actual pet being transferred, to counter the infamous Blaze Cu Switcharoo.

You must not be aware that there is secure trading of pets....

It's way old news to most of us. You click the pet and select transfer, and then you get to target the person you want to transfer the pet to, and a trade window comes up. The other person can put money etc. in his side of the trade window, and you both get to click your diamond to complete the trade.

which can only be done with certain animals such as the nightmare/faction guard horse.

most of the other animals take on the hue they are with the exception of some bugged ones I do believe (which appear black)

The pet's skills and stats could be drastically different.

Well if it was a greater dragon you just have to do it where no one is and there will be no problem because you can only have one with you, same goes for hiryus and dogs.

That's how I'm reading it as well. Sounds like the guy accepted the price for the pet and initiated and approved the trade window without the pet even being transferred to initiate the trade. If this is the case, then its his own fault for being a dumbass, and love2winalot, there is nothing that the Dev's can do to correct stupidity on the players behalf.
