Pet Training on Crazed Mage and Unbound Vortex in Shame

So its going quite well using these two unkillabke monsters... BUT, last level seems to have stalled at about 50% and have not git a gain for quite a while,

Is this normal?

Advice?

Yes, all mobs have a limit. Have to kill it and train on the new one. Use each vortex till they stop. Most 4 slot pets stop at 25% per mob.

At this point I would hit narvey until dry and then go hit on some dino's Allosaurus specifically
