I think the devs should seriously consider what pet pulls at one time did for the economy.
Pet pulls used to be a sure way of reducing the amount of simoleans floating around in the game. Millions of simoleans used to be spent doing these pet pulls, of which much of those simoleans went back to EA.
Store owners would buy thousands of pets, 10 at a time, open them, see what pet was inside and sell almost all back at a reduced price.
Pet pulling is not done now as the sellback value is set to 0. It simply costs far to much.
If a dynamic buyback value was set to pets, pet pulls would start up again and a very viable way of reducing the amount of simoleans in EA Land would be established.
I think that also a good way to help kick this along would be introduce a new pet or 2.
After all the robo pet factory has been manufacturing the same robo pets for over 3 years now. Time to supersede the old ones and introduce a new model.
It could be a simple as a color change and calling them mark 2 making very easy for the devs to do.
