Pet Gone Wild

Adjusting the hat on his head with a little jingle of the bells the nameless tamer set out with a grunt to find his pet. The overgrown handbag had only been out of sight for a moment, one would think something that size would be easy to track, but Not this time. He could not even find so much as a muddy print to suggest which way the beast had gone. That creature would be in serious trouble when he found him.

Maybe putting out posters would help, better yet calling in the guards would work. The guards would be great so long as they didn’t feel the need to attack on sight. One never knows how to take strange animals wandering the streets unattended. Not too long ago even the rats were out of control, no telling what citizens would do with something a little bigger than a rat.

No matter what the citizens thought, he had to get his pet back! They were friends after all, companions in travel through thick and thin. How could life ever be the same without the great beast? Shaking the negative thoughts from his head with a jingle of bells and a renewed vigor he continued the search.

The poor soul was so distraught at the inability to find his pet! All the chaos in the towns was making the tracking much more difficult than he had anticipated. There were fires and rubble and broken buildings all over, and any one of those things could be contributed to either the pet or the rioters. How was he suppose to find his beast in all this mess!

He had to find the great beast sooner than later, there was enough destruction and mayhem around without the help of a wayward pet. If it were a dog or cat there would never be an issue, but This pet was special. He was larger than most of the tamed beasts folks had now days and he still had some issues trying to maintain control of his tail. Knocking things over or starting fires with a sneeze were fairly common, but in the field of battle it was a great asset.

The decision had to be made! There was no other choice than to request assistance from the guards of the towns. Perhaps this Napa Crucis would lend a hand!

The Knight Elistan has graciously agreed to lend aid in finding the lost pet! Saturday 3/10 at 7pm PST the Napa Crucis will gather to form a search party to find the lost pet belonging to the man with the jester’s hat. West Brit Bank will be the gathering point.
