Pet dismount bug?

You'll tell me if it's new or not, but as it's the first time I go out with a hiryu, I just noticed it.

The pet use the dismount move... on me. I'm not taking damage, but still get hit by the special move.

Is it because UO:SE is on beta test or is it a hidden feature?
Or is it an area dismount move? Oo

Hiryu trying to dismount things that arnt dismounted has been around since thier introduction.

It get especially annoying in pvp :/

I put in a bug report on this a while back.

There's a special move that the hiryu and lesser hiryu can do where if your target is mounted, the bird will dismount them. Due to PVP balance issues, they somewhat recently made it so that if your pet dismounts somebody, not only can that person not re-mount for a while, but for that same period of time you yourself are prevented from mounting your own pet or ethy or whatever. That's what that debuff in your buffs bar appeared for, to tell you that you can't mount.

The trouble is that if your pet activates this special move on an already-dismounted target, it acts as though a dismount really meant something. You get the no-mount debuff for no good reason.

It's goofy, hopefully one day it works more sensibly in regard to targets that weren't mounted when the bird activated the special.

Thanks for posting this btw... I saw my hiryu activated a special move that prevented me from mounting, but I didn't know it was dismount. HOw to dismount a dragon? +1 for PvP.
