Pet death -> client crash

Ive witnessed this several times tonight, my guildies using CC kept crashing immediately after any tamed mob died on there screen.

Anyone familiar with this bug?

I must also say that the crash rate have enormously increased on EC client after the new expansion especially when running/recalling over server lines.

If this is on production shards may I ask how you are dyeing your pets and if this is on TC then stop dyeing them.

I get the recall/rubberbanding crash a lot lately, but I have no clue what you're talking about with dyed pets, unless you mean when a players pet "Dies", then yes, that happens quite often in pvp.

LMAO TYVM I know how to fix this problem, do not let your pet die and tell your guildies to stop letting their pets die, problem solved.

How can i not think about it! Ill add this the the guild rules list straight away: NEVER GET UR PET KILLED & NEVER KILL ENEMIES PETS!

I'm noticing a massive increased client crashing on the EC when casting. I'm also noticing huge lag spikes/client lockups.

@Kyronix - have the EC crash reports been seen by the team? I'm also still seeing naked unmounted toons running about, this bug was suppose to be fixed quite a few publishes back.

When i client crash from a horse death, everyone else on the screne on CC crashes at the same time. Friend or foe, i tried to reproduce the crash several times at luna bank and was unsuccessful.

Sounds like these are happening while in a Fel environment such as PvP.

Try ticking 'Turn off Horse sounds' in UOAssist Mervyn. If any of your guild still uses it over EC.

ok thanks i'll give that a go, i do think it is horse sound related as it repeats the sound of the horses death over a few times before the crash

Yeah the same kept happening to me.

Does anyone else get the problem in Cc that they recall, then they're frozen. Can still see people moving but can't move or move any items in pack? It happens occasionally when recalling or going through moongate and only a relog fixes it? Again 2d/Uoassist running

I have cleaned up this thread. Please keep to the topic and take PvP arguments to the shard PvP threads. If there are issues with crashes, it will be easier for the devs to see what is happening without having to wade through all of the PvP arguments. Also keep in mind that illegal 3rd party programs are against the ToS and cannot be discussed here.
