Pet Damage on stratics/lore gump

Whilst i understand that their damage is halved, why do hiryu , regular dragons, fire steeds and WW have such comparitivly high damage vs things like Cu, GD on the list below?

Taken from stratics (http://uo.stratics.com/content/skills/anim.php) this isn't what appears to be the case in practice. Is this because of how STR/Skills factor in also?

Looking on here, WW and hiryu look to be the super-pets they once were...

Can anyone explain?

many beasts of the hunter's guide have wrong base damage (not the same of animal lore).

What's happened is that some of the damage ranges are as modified by str, and others are the base damage.

All creatures from SE and before have their stats taken from uoherald.com

They calculated the damage differently. Theirs is damage after tactics and anatomy and str has been applied. After SE we've have to lore all the creatures by hand and so the damage is the base damage, which is the only one that's provided.
