Seems if you have a nightmare (only tested pet)
if it's damaged even 1 HP it says you must wait and heal your mount before you can ride it again....

Were you dismounted by a riding swipe? (No-Dachi weapon)

Sometimes I get the message that it is "poisoned" or under some other effect and I can not ride it...

Othertimes if I was dismounted by something it occasionally tells me I'm too "dazed" to remount my ride...

but othertimes it tells me my mount is too busy fighting to remount it... and if I tell it to "stop"... then I can jump back on quick..

After you dismount (for any reason) there is a timer that you have to wait out before you can remount if your pet takes damage. Not a bug.

It just says your mount must be heal'd before you can mount it.

Not poison'd or mortal'd or bleeding or strangled

sounds like you were hit by riding swipe honestly, even though you said you werent. *shrugs* not sure whatelse it could be
