Pet Bonding

My question is there a limit on how many pets can be bonded to one character? Have a friend who has 2 swamp dragons and a giant beetle. The beetle and one dragon have bonded but the other dragon has not. Both swampies were recieved on the same day with in like a couple of hours. Any info would be appreciated.

make sure he fed it, then stabled it for over a week, bbefore feeding it again.
