Pet Bonding Question?

Do you have to feed a pet twice to get it to bond with you?

I'm about 99% sure the answer is yes because I had something that didn't bond once. I realized I'd never fed it when I tamed it because when your skill is high its wonderfully happy to begin with. I fed it and then it bonded 7 days later.

Yes, you've got it right. Feed then wait 7 days and feed again, and it will bond assuming you have the min skill.
