Pet BAr Question, plz help

i tried asking this question in the taming forum, but didn't get any useful info, despite their kind advice. I have lost my pet bar in KR. I've tried moving all the windows around to see if it was minimizedand hiding behind something else. I've tried adjusting the UI scale in the hopes it would show up. I've looked all over the internet for a hotkey or something that will make it reappear, but found nothing.

I really hope someone has some way to solve this; my poor cu is tired of being named "a cu sidhe" and I don't want todig out 2d to chnge it

Try changing you monitor resolution - that will sometimes kick stuff that is out of range back onto screen.

Also, I believe the people over on the KR forum have dealt with this before, and can tell you which lines to alter/delete in your KR desktop files to cause it to pop back to its default location on next login...

I had this EXACT same problem just a few weeks ago. People say try to change the scale, but sincerely if it's gone it's most likely gone.

I had to delete my interface folder and it reset all my macro's and bars to their default positions.

To do this you:

**EDIT**: You can simply search for the name of your character you're having problems with via the search computer function on your OS, and then delete it outright. For instance my character is named "Xadius", so I searched for it, the TEXT FILE of my name comes up, and then I delete it, and log in to the game. If this makes no sense to you, read on. (If you have multiple characters with the same name in UO, I would do it with the steps shown below out of fear of deleting the wrong interface).

1.) Locate the "EA Games" folder in your Documents/My Documents directory.

2.) Open Ultima Online folder (not legacy).

3.) Open "User Data" folder.

4.) Open the folder which has the title of your Account Name.

5.) Open the shard (server) that the character you are having difficulties with is located on.

6.) Delete the file named after your character.

7.) Log in.

Everything should be back to the default settings in terms of your user interface layout.

I know how valuable the Kingdom Reborn pet bar is for many reasons. Namely the unique pet renaming abilities. This should be a fix to your problem.

Thanks to both of you, I have my pet bar back! As a result of your input, basara, I ent to the KR forum to look for the answer. And lo and behold, I found YOUR thread, xadius, and deleting the user data worked great. Sure, it deleted all my macros as well, but I've been meaning to redo them anyway. thanks everyone!!

You probably could have gone into the file and deleted the desktop file, or copied the macro files to another location then moved them back afterwards. I usually back-up my UO macros and desktop files to a flash drive since I have multiple computers and also every once in a while macros and desktops get messed-up.
