Pet Balls

I'm on a Taming spree and I'm in dire need of Pet Balls. Every one of my bonded pet must have a Pet Ball! So I complete the Ambitious Solen Queen Quest 10 times (might as well get other goodies at the same time!). I kill 50 (that's five oh) Queens. I end up with 10 BoS, ~50 PoT, ~50k gps, a bag-full of gems and (drum roll) 1 (O-N-E) Pet Ball. Took ~2 hrs! Pet Balls must be worth a mil a crack at this drop rate! The spawn rate of Queens? It's not speedy. It's slow slower slowest!

Is this simply the RNG shoving a big one up my...err...nose or is the Pet Ball drop rate this rare?

I gave up on getting pet balls for all of my pets. What I do is clear one and re-link to whatever pet I need it for. It does not take charges to change to a new pet.

Petballs are cheap... well, at least on my shard, I ususally get some petballs while doing the quest, and get loaded with the PoT. You can use the gold earned to buy some of them also.

Petballs are not really big at this point because the log in and out pet auto stable feature. Use this "feature" can get you many unintended advantages. e.g taking your pets to places that DEV designed not abled to use a summoning ball, and places that dont allow summons. Avoid pet death, auto stable ect ect.

So do Pet Balls have any value in the current market??? I was thinking 1k for the Pet Ball and 1k per charge? IE: 6 charge Pet Ball = 7K. Is this out of line?

pet balls , like any other thing are subject to the random number monster.

once, my friend and I were at either queen spawn point,
in the space of 1 1/2 hours, he got 1, i got 10, had to actually leave and come back, cause they weigh 10 stone each

we figured one spot was glitched, so we switched places,
in the next 1 1/2 hours, he got 2, I got 15 (back to back sometimes)

well.. he was pretty ticked off at the rng hehe.
but hey, he managed to get twice as many arties in Doom as I did
