[Price Check] Permanantly Polymorphed Ratman Dragon

I have a dragon which has been stuck in ratman form for a very, very long time - we're talking years and years. He's died and been resurrected and kept his form, and I've taken him out and done stuff with him. Looks just like a ratman but makes dragon noises. I'd like to know what the value of this pet is, as well as its legality. It's rated 4 stars on the pet power calculator and could be used as a fighting pet if one chose.

Fairly sure a GM would revert this back to original form pretty quick.

That is a very old bug that used to only impact white wyrms and creatures that were not intended to be tamed. To my knowledge the legality has always been tenuous because it does provide opportunities for some exploitation.

I'm sure it's a dragon, since it makes only dragon noises and lores as a dragon - not a white wyrm. Are you sure the bug only affected wyrms and untamable pets?

The exploit I am thinking of was quite old but I do not recall ever seeing it affect dragons.

I don't know how it was made originally because it was given to me by a friend who quit the game. This would have been about 6-7 years ago, but the dragon is probably quite a bit older then that. The dragon is on a closed account, so I'll just leave it there until I have reason to reopen it.

I had a pet like that as well...i don't remember if it was a White Wyrm or a dragon tho.

After killing Baracoon, it got polymorphed into a ratman....and for some reason it never changed back. I kept it for a long time, cpl of yrs maybe until a bug caused me to lose my bonded pet when i lost conn.

I doubt a gm would care.

i think its hard to put a price on something like this. if you really did want to sell it you could put up for auction. A friend of mine has a dragon that Medusa changed to stone a couple years ago and now its a very nice brown color.
Some people might not want to put a large amout of gold on a animal like this with fears that it could be changed back to original form
