Luck of the draw, pretty much, from the trinket weavers and the guys behind them.
Don't do the carpentry-skill quests, just the tinker & alchemy quests (and the one for coil's fang, if you got someone that likes farming monsters in the blighted grove, or near the Medusa spawn in the abyss). If you're training a tinker and haven't hit GM yet, the quest for the spyglasses or the chimes is a hell of a lot better than just tossing the things into a trash can.
