Exodus simply isn't easier than Lady Mel, Medusa, Dreadhorn, Stygian Dragon...etc. I'm not aware of any particular exploit, but to the average group fighting the Exodus demon versus any of those other monsters I named, it will take more time, more effort and more people to defeat him.Until they fix the Exodus exploit (unless they already have), he´s probably easier than the other peerless bosses.

This is the trouble with turning UO away from an RP oriented game about community.... and turning into a greed fed item grabbing game. When we went away from GM gear to all this depth of crap on gear and weapons and crap we introduced the must have crap... and artifacts and all that junk..... now UO is less about adventuring and comradery and doing things with "the gang" ...... and it's more about doing things solo so you can keep all the loot to yourself... and everyone gets pissy if they don't get the drop and the best of everything... and eventually then folk have the top this and that.... and then they get bored because they can't get the next bestest thing ....... so the DEV's constantly are upping the aunty and such just to keep folk interested..... which if we had a big development team like they do at Blizzard for WoW wouldn't be that big of a deal but since our team is.... well what it is... we expect way more than they can possibly deliver.It would be nice if 99% of the content in this game wasn't ****ing pointless and not worth anything but fond memories.
I am doing Exodus instead. I am making a point that Peerless Encounters are useless and it does need to be upgraded. All they really need to do is sit down and come up with a bunch of mounts and novelty pets, and maybe some belt-slot items besides the whopping two we've had forever, and some new statted cloaks and junk since we only have a few of them and they mostly came from limited events, blah blah blah, and then scatter those new goodies across existing content so that people have a renewed reason to do it.This is the trouble with turning UO away from an RP oriented game about community.... and turning into a greed fed item grabbing game. I've done Fel Peerless since 86, and I thought the loot sucked. I wanted to do Exodus a few nights after P86 hit in the hopes of getting a stat scroll from it. When we all saw the loot (and we did 2 that night), we decided to farm it regularly. I can't seem to upload a pic, but one of the items I got was this Legendary Ring: Antique, Fencing +15, SI 4, Night Sight, EP 25, HCI 15, 1/4, LRC 25, SSI 10. I dislike that it's Antique, but if you only pvp with them & make sure to repair, they can last a while. Until a few weeks ago, it was just sitting in my house and collecting dust, but I use a companion brace (Magery +15, 1/2, EP 20, LRC 12) and love it.

agreed, beef those bad boys up and beef up the lootI feel that all peerless bosses should be made more difficult, regardless if loot is bumbed up or not. We have all these new legendaries that only a small fraction of players really "need". Id like to see all suits, luck suits, mage pvm suits, everything start actually NEEDING the stats like max hpr and eaters to be able to do peerless content.
It doesnt make sense that loot improves but bosses dont get harder, and im not expecting any New bosses / content, so it would make the most sense to increase the difficulty of what we already have, maybe add a couple vanity drops like mounts / dyes, and force the majority of players to actually need the Global Loot that the devs took so much time to provide and was pleaded for on these forums.
In short, i believe that peerless should no longer be survivable, let alone soloable in imbued gear anymore.
How do the devs do that? Maybe just add an area spell to all bosses that does a significant amount of damage.
