Why would anyone sell enchanted essence at 300 per? Even prods are 2k+ per.

Who is selling at 24,999 per?

I had 100 @ 249,999 which if you do the math is 2,499 per. That is basic high school math thus maybe you has a difficulty with numbers. And yes, they sold over the weekend.

But back to my main question, why is enchanted essence so cheap on Siege?

Why is Magical Residue so cheap? 100 per? Prods are running 300 plus?

Again, just a curious question.

Supply and demand...You have hundreds that play here compared to thousands of characters on prodo shard...

I don't know for certain, but perhaps it is a skill gain thing?
On production shards, people buy thousands, and burn through them to get their gains in a short space of time. On Siege, RoT would make burning through inefficient, so there's not such the demand for bulk - you could collect enough residue for a day's imbuing training with only a couple of monsters.

What's the exchange rate between here and there? 1 to 7...? 100gp here 300gp there seems kinda expensive if you ask me. Price should be lower here.

More like supply and demand of gold. Here, 100+ mil is mega rich. Prodo shards it's chump change.

Thus less gold = lower prices for traded goods. Just think dull copper runic hammers, here 25k, prodo shards what, 250k?

Why does that not apply to other resources?

Ingots & wood pretty much same as prods
Regs are 3x higher than prods.
Cloth higher than prods.
Leathers are close also.

Having spent years dealing with supply & demand on Siege, that reasoning for imbuing resources does not make sense.

The only way to make gold on Siege is by selling to players. No NPC sink to collect gold for your wares. THUS it's more difficult to get gold on Siege than prods. That is what SHOULD make Siege appealing to players. Gold has more value.

Make it worth new players time to come to Siege.

The activity on Siege is dropping at a much faster rate than even 6 months ago.

I disagree with that, the last few months I've seen alot of new faces around. I think we're on an up swing. The gold thing will take care of itself. The price is what it is. If you can't get it easy (costs more) if you can find it all over (costs less). The people know.

Your correct youve spent years with supply and demand on SP but but youve also been the most expensive over the years too...8/10 people always went to you as a last resort if they couldnt find something...

Prodo=Dupes do i honestly need to mention anything else?If i duped 500 million gold do you think i would care if i paid 5k per enchanted essence on a prodo shard...ofcourse not...Hell lemme dupe vally hammers and then break them down for relics frags while im at it...

Correct but you're looking at resources that are readily available from NPCs on Prodo shards but not on Siege.

Regs are 3x higher here than on prodo shards because the NPCs set the prices, not supply & demand. Demand is what demand is, and supply is unlimited and a fixed price.

All other resources (cloth, leather, etc) - on prodo shards you have the same case as with reg vendors where NPCs set the price (subject to some small variations) and sell you an unlimited quantity, therefore supply is unlimited at a generally fixed price. On Siege, NPCs don't sell cloth/leather/boards/ingots/etc at ALL. Thus they are subject to the economic forces of supply/demand.
