PC on Cloak

My wife has a cloak that is black when in her bag, but translucent grey/black when she wears it. She paged a GM worried that it might have ben dupped but the GM said it was fine because it offered no advantage in the game, but did not know where it was from. Does this cloak have any value? I do not know how to post pictures and all that but it looks like a shadow cloak when worn. We are on Pacific.

Only Cloak i know of that would fit that description originally is

Cloak of Shadows (Blessed, Ethereal color) (1), Season 4 on Napa Valley

I doubt GMs have a definitive list of all items ever given out by Seers/IGMs.

To us this is common knowledge. Any sane person might not have heard about the Cloak of Shadows.

Anyway, it's one of the less commonly available changeling dupe items. I've seen them fetch pretty large amounts (20-50m), especially from people that did not know it was a changeling item.

GMs damn well should have a list of all the items in the game. They should also know about the game they work on.
It's a pretty commonly available item on the Catskills shard. Was a popular Catskills guild uniform item for a while if it still isn't.
