Default Update on local Aussie Shard
Folks,

wanted to make certain you knew we are still working on the local shard for you.
The vendor has been identified. We have the hardware and are configuring it.

Our target is late this week or by middle of next week.

Apologies for the delays. It's tough working ultra-remotely.

Can you please let all the oceanians know what are the current stats is? Are we able to having our shard back ? It's an un-playable game at all , should we all moving to WoW ?

We are paying for gametimes , three months for an non-playable game !! No feedback , no update at all !!!

we just need a sentence from you and it just takes you 1 minute at all

Thought they fixed this already? I know I created a char there to see the lag(really bad). tried it a few mins ago, on foot, and was very good. I thought they moved it all to Calif. ?

They moved it to CA, which means less lag for us in the states. In Australia, however, where the regular playerbase exists, the packets are having to travel a long way to CA, which causes extreme lag.

Cal has identified an Australian-based server and was working to get it set up, last I heard.

well, he maybe put in a request to get it done, since 'that ain't their dept.' (My company has fired people for saying that to clients). It's out of his hands now.

Personally, 30 days no play, I'd be gone. With little or no regular communication, get used to it or don't play it, that's the new UO it seems
Pretty sad to be just a spectator (via stratics) when you really want to play and see all the changes - and enjoy the story arc ending - they're treating you like Siege.

i did write a several posts or message him in pass 2 days , but it still got 0 feedback at all . Either he just let us know the server won't returning to australia region , then we will all quitting. Or let us know how long will it be to fixing it up. All the oceanian pays for non-playable game for 3 months already , either 200ms or 50% packet loss.

We had lots of old players here , played over 7 yrs + , we had building up our charaters and stuff .. as long as it is a way to communicate with friends, we enjoy the game tho. We bought the new version year by year. And now EA is turning all of us down (Oceanians). For somehow this is kind of worst business that they running .... NO SERVICE at all.
Or else we may stick to the FB apps game and they cost us $0 .

Left Oceiana due to the lag issue! Others i know did also or are on a break! It needs to be resolved! And i want my character that never made it via transfer back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost a character with many soulstones filled with skills great gear and to add insuly to injury i payed for the token that did this to me!

I am in this same boat. Albeit I dont play UO as often anymore, but I am over these yanks thinking they are good because they can kill someone before they are even seen.

If you didn't have lag you could be enjoying the overflowing population of protection mystic mage playing idiots that have there spam of cleansing winds ready to go. Honestly you're not missing much pvp wise. Unless you like everyone on mystic's. If that's the case them I'm sorry you can't play. Maybe you should hop on my account on GL. I won't be using it, and there's no lag there .

They are easy to beat, if you yourself are ANOTHER mystic (purge). Get the point? Or if mortal strike wasn't ineffective vs. cleansing winds.
