Patch error

I recieve error applying patch, I looked at UO's site and they blame bad sectors on hd.......this is a new hard drive,so before I delete game and such I remember something about the patch folder.......? any advise other than deleting game would be great

Delete everything in the patch folder and then try to patch again.

what Tazar said, also make sure it run as admin if vista or 7.
