Party member tracking on map in EC

I just realised yesterday that I can see where my fellow party members are on the build in map in the Enhanced Client....

Anyone know when this feature was introduced? I dont remember seing this before

It's been there a while, I only wish it did the same for guild members.

I wish we could change the icon from a white x to something else. You know what happens when you go to lands with snow with your party? You can't see them....

Iam not sure I agree Sometimes I think it would be nice not to show up on others map

For party thou I think its splendid as you have made an active choice to group up with these people and you most likely have a common goal.

Do the party members only show up on the radar map when they are in your character's immediate vicinity, or can you also find them on the larger version of the map when they are quite distant from your character or perhaps even in another facet? Do you see just an X or do you also see the character's name?

You can highlight over the X and see the character name, and yes, you can see people in other facets. However I find in some dungeons you can't see anyone at all, even if they are right next to you.
